Well met
pilgrim, and welcome to the world known to mortals as Korinth. Korinth is
a land with a long, and sometimes bloody history, a land in which mighty dragons
do battle and powerful heroes vie for fame and fortune. Through her ages many
have joined in her trials, of these, some rise through time to become legends.
Perhaps even you shall be immortalized in the pages of her history...

...in the archon camp came a column of liquid fire so hot you could feel its withering heat from your perch hundreds of yards away. Out of this column strode a mighty humanoid creature wreathed in fire and cradling a sword of the same. A chant erupted from the archons, "IMIX! IMIX! IMIX!" again and again and again they shouted the name of their master, their god, the archomental
Imix, Prince of Elemental Fire...
The death of Celk passed with as much fanfare as expected and after collecting the promised reward you launched right into new negotiations with the Duke. He was still interested in your traveling to the elves of the Sagarsh Desert there to negotiate an alliance between the elves and the resistance. You quickly agreed upon a price and then departed Rock Harbor for the near-500 mile journey to the desert.
You made your way across the arid plain and into the outskirts of the desert. There, Imtayda housed hundreds of vicious gnolls who nearly thwarted your forward progress. You carefully snuck past the gnolls hoping to uncover the secrets of the dark opening into the mountain which sits at the western edge of their town...

While in Cliffside you heard of a festival at the nearby village of Elkridge and decided you would stop in on your way out of the valley. Things were not well in Elkridge however and as you approached the outlying farms you found the homes tightly boarded up, with a few...

The world of Korinth has evolved over more than two decades not
because of any one individual. Every player has left their mark on the world and
so too have many works of literature (see below). Even a handful of videogames
(Mega Man and Warcraft come to mind) have aided
the evolution of Korinth.
The entirety of the Elric Saga (Michael Moorcock)
The Wheel of
Time ( Robert Jordan)
The many works of Margaret Wyse and Tracy Hickman
including: Dragonlance Chronicles, Darksword Trilogy and the
Deathgate Cycle
Riftwar Saga (Raymond Fiest)
Cthulhu Mythos (H.P. Lovecraft)
R.A.
Salvatore’s Drizzt character – particularly the early books such as the Icewind
Dale Trilogy and the Dark Elf Trilogy
